It is known that over recent years Walsall has become ever more growing of litter. A positive way to tackle this issue could be to integrate a small fee for litter picking, aiming at teenagers. Helping to keep the streets SAFE and CLEAN we can encourage teenagers and young adults to work for their own community by litter picking in reward for a small fee. It could be viewed that this will only encourage children to do something if there is money involved. I see it as a way to inspire children, that if we work hard to improve the standards of living as not only an individual but a community, you will be rewarded for it. This reinforces the community of walsall including all generations that Walsall can be a clean safe space, no matter the area.
