A youth centre that not only meets the need of the low income and high risk vulnerable children but gives access and advice and guidance into further education.
I work in social services and have done for 6 years, I have a costed and evidenced presentation on exactly what issues it could address and how it will help reduce reoffending rates and replace the huge void of children’s services we’ve seen develop over the last ten years. It could run programmes for young people who have suffered adverse childhood experiences like Boyhood2Manhood, Escape the Trap, Solihull parenting course and which would have a knock on effect on local communities and aspirations of the town.
I’m willing to present this and be part of any future meetings that I’m needed for. I’ve worked on community projects in the past and have learned a great deal about youth engagement and how to evidence progress vs projected cost within this sector, which is normally an issue.
