An active& healthy city

Prioritise space for people to move&travel actively. Build cycle routes& good public transport connections for suburbs into the city.Incentivise businesses to get employees to travel into work without cars where poss. Create bike hire schemes across city. More road space to pedestrians and cyclist& reduce the concerning level of pollution on our streets. Stop prioritising car travel unless for those with mobility issues.

Biodiversity&green space- create more urban green spaces in city centre for biodiversity- install live green roofs on council &public building in the city centre &incentivise businesses to install these also. Create mini Woodlands in unused spaces, have unmowed areas of lawn, ponds&bug houses to help wildlife thrive. Use large barren green spaces for features which encourage biodiversity.Key examples are the Racecourse &New Road cricket ground, riverside by hallow recycling centre.
