Attractive and accessible facilities

I would suggest that we take a pride in our Victorian and older architecture, rather than modern buildings popping up everywhere without a thought of how they fit in. Bring back the gardeners that looked after the seafront, the park and other public places, who took a pride in their work to make the town attractive. Bring back drinking water fountains for public use and the toilets so meanly closed. Encourage diversity of independent shops by charging lower rates. Make Hastings individual, not a replica of every other town, make it special, unique and caring of its community.
