As many people in Hereford endure the same issue on a daily basis, the need for improved traffic solutions are the upmost need in Herefordshire. Currently if there is any issues on the main route through Hereford the city becomes gridlocked for many hours. With proposed housing developments the increase of vehicles are likely to make this issue much worse. We are in desperate need of a suitable and logical bypass with a new bridge link so that traffic can be more easily managed. In addition, the condition of many roads is completely unacceptable and the council seem more interested in using money to improve the ‘look’ of their council owned buildings rather than on what the local people need. A major investigation of our traffic problems needs to be addressed with the upmost priority. The town does not need more cycle routes or fancy bus schemes – they need improved routes across the whole county.
