Centralising the Town.

The Town Centre, and the London Road South shopping area will never improve whilst the Council still grant planning permission for out of town retail parks. Major retailers need to be encouraged into town, generating footfall that at the moment heads often to Norwich and Gt Yarmouth.
Plenty of underused land around the actual centre to use, and then promote more leisure, arts and smaller retail more central to London Rd North and South.
Why not create a central museum in the old Post Office, or Town Hall, bringing together the collections of the Maritime museum, RNPS museum and Lowestoft museum, 3 smaller museums under one larger roof?
Investment in public transport too, and discouraging cars coming into town. It’s a never ending list for a neglected town.
