I think there are so many great suggestions on here already. What needs to happen is for RMBC to actually remember that they are public servants and to listen to their people. The high street funds needs needs investment in to low rates that are higher than Sheffield, supporting businesses models, utilising empty buildings more effectively. Free parking or increase red bay parking. Investment into VCS to support Culture not RMBC daft plans to impress others from outside let’s start working on residents. Music venues to be supported to bring back the entertainment. More recognition for places like Cutlers. Tackling hate crime and investment in training senior leaders and higher levels management in Rotherham communities. Instead of enforcement support communities with solutions. Investment in infrastructure in the VCS. Prioritising vulnerable communities. Supporting LGBTQ community with provision. Not thinking the council can do everything as these suggestions show.
