I lived in Margate to start a life with my partner, in a year there hasn’t been any improvement to the area, for a comfortable public space. It certainly doesn’t improve the amount of elderly and homeless peoples’ health that is affected by sitting on benches in Margate’s ghastly wind and rain. I hope you could build a medium hut with sofas lended by charities and a book shelf. The best place would be by the sea and close to the train station. It would improve happiness, health and influence more visitors to Margate as they don’t have to be sitting outside parks and in libraries. Bexhill-On-Sea has one why can’t Margate ?
