There are number of potential reuses of the Theddlethorpe Gas Terminal Brownfield site facility that should be evaluated (idea No.2). The site is currently undergoing demolition and no doubt the site tenants have mature plans in place. So, any change or opportunity needs to be discussed and seized upon early this year to prevent the need to reverse unnecessary demolition & then rebuild costs. Healthy Eco tourism is an area not maximised in this area. Compulsory purchase site and redevelop with Private investment into becoming a future Centreparcs type experience for people who like boating, trekking, mountain biking, horse riding, bird watching, Countryside pursuits etc. The experience would take advantage of our glorious countryside & natural coastal beaches. This could add further boost to Farms and other business who may then be able to develop visitor farm attractions etc. Similar holiday experiences are more than 2 hours away from this area creating an opportunity for us.
