1. Address the town centre gridlock caused by a policy of rampant house building without supporting the increase with infrastructure such as shops and schools in the areas where the houses have been built.
2. Address the poor state of the roads, not by patching which is a false economy, but by resurfacing properly.
3. Complete roadworks that we’re started over 18 months ago and that have lain dormant and unfinished since (Plough Hill Rd).
4. Invest in Town Centre regeneration initiatives that will bring investment from more than just charity shops. Give people an incentive to come into the town centre without focussing on turning into a NightTime Economy hub. Farmers Markets, Entertainment opportunities, and improved parking, Park & Ride?
