Getting about. Getting fit. Getting cars off the road.

Improve public transport in, around and out of town. Cycle lanes for safe cycling. Improve the footpaths to optimize enjoyment of the local scenery. Swimming pool/gym. Perhaps consider wild swimming area.

  1. A good start would be the provision of charging points for electric cars – at least then the problem of vehicle pollution might be tackled sooner and more easily. I would try to change to an electric vehicle if there were charging facilities more accessible.

  2. Footpaths & cycle paths to link villages around millom & Haverigg. Good link from Haverigg to kirksanton to silecroft would enhance local business.

Wild swimming area at port Haverigg.

  3. Mullin is no different to the rest of the Country _There too many cars. However Millom has some justification because of the geography, poor public transport and lack of local employment.

  4. Widen an resurface the path along the embankment from Millom to The Green making it more accessible to walkers, cyclists, motorised wheelchairs/mobility scooters, pushchairs and prams, Also add more benches nearer to The Green
