I am a 70 year old Margate born and bred and in all that time I have never seen our grass verges and kerb cleaning so neglected.I can’t remember the last time I saw a road sweeper or gardener working in my town.Its no good spending vast amounts of money on refurbishing our old town or on the Turner Centre to attract visitors while they are also witnessing the amount of litter laying in the kerbside. When I have out of town people to visit I always have to apologize for the state the town is in .By employing council gardens we will not only make our area more tidier but helping with unemployment situation . Also invest more money to help business people to open up more shops as we do not have a single butcher,greengrocer or cakeshop to buy from
