Have a 100 year plan

Longer term planning beyond short term plans based on which party is in power. Allow residents to help shape the place they live in. Warrington is an outstanding place in danger of losing green spaces and heritage which make it a great place. Council should be able to locally implement plans to improve the environment even if it means having teeth to pressure landlords or owners. For example Peel which is responsible for waterways and infrastructure inc. swing bridges, and owners of standout buildings which give character much needed in Any Town. Infrastructure needs immediate reform as it has bottlenecks restricting free flow, and Warrington could be a leader by allowing for more creativity for the future of electric transport hubs. Consider mixed use buildings in the centre to fully utilise the existing spaces first ahead of building, building, building houses.
