Something really needs to happen to the sheer amount of people in Teesside who are homeless right now. There is no help or support for them anymore and I’m sick of my local Mayor taking the ‘out of sight out of mind’ approach. People are freezing to death on the streets of Middlesbrough. Maybe not on the street where Mr Preston resides, but I see these people huddled in their sleeping bag on streets I live. Do you have any idea what its like to have to turn someone down asking for a coffee because you only have the change in your pocket and can’t afford a penny more. The guilt that eats you up. Since Breaking Boundries team lost their funding there have been 15 deaths, and that total is rising. Quickly. Without community ran charities such as The Homeless Cafe, these people have noone.
