First, putting 360 degree immersive infrastructure into a large empty retail space; a social VR sanctuary for people to meet, eat/drink locally sourced produce and share in mesmeric experiences. Projectors would fill all four walls and the ceiling with content that privileges local interest. Training provided would empower and galvanize local groups to create 360 degree content enabling sharing of stories – from reflecting current issues to capturing local histories. This would be juxtaposed with all forms of immersive/360 degree content; art, narrative films, gaming, live performance (music, dance, theatre). With infrastructure and training in place, possibilities become limitless – with the emphasis on Herefordians deciding what they’d prefer to create and schedule into the space.
