Improving the city whilst keeping history alive.

Restoration of The Old Tramroad Bridge in Avenham Park (An historic and unique concrete trestle and spar bridge) would be a good way to spend a fraction of the monies available. There are several specialist contractors ready and waiting for a call from the city council to call them. Like the old bus station, all it needs is a specialist concreter restorer and it can be back to better than new for less than the cost of demolition. This should at the very least be looked at. So far the council has done nothing in this direction other than seeking the views of non specialists!
