East riding council have a duty to protect their residents and land from the contamination 4R are planning to bring into our area. How can they agree to thousands of tonnes of the worst contaminated waste being hauled through our town and villages to be processed, not to mention apparently supporting the company by agreeing to their offer of £5000 per annum for road repairs. The damage caused by thousands of HGV’s a year to our roads will be tens of thousands of pounds. What will be the advantage for the people of Goole I wonder. None that I can see. We will have our highways damaged, our health and that of our environment put at risk, properties devalued. Something isn’t adding up?
