I moved to Bridgwater due to my job in the local area, but I never would of chosen to live here otherwise as it needs a lot of work.
The environment and planet is the most important thing that needs focusing on for the future of humanity and all living creatures.
Any decisions on work need to be environmentally friendly and green.
Housing developments need to stop being built on green land, this is having a massive detrimental affect on our local wildlife. We should be helping wildlife not pushing it to the brink of extinction.
Extensive tree planting needs to take place, with green spaces which promote biodiversity. The council should be working on this anyway.
Community project work for this and helping wildlife should be in place, making wildlife corridors (bats, hedghogs for example). Improving people’s gardens and incentives to help wildlife (gargen birds, hedghogs etc).
A badger vaccination programme needs to start immediately to stop the horrific disgusting persecution and erad
