With the increasing amount of new builds an investment in infrastructure should be made:
It would be lovely to see developments of more social venues e.g. coffee shops, bars, restaurants. The town centre could be re designed to improve shopping and provide a community hub with activies accessible across the life span, especially helping provide somewhere for teenagers to socialise. We are lucky to have the beautiful Worden park, which should be supported to continue to hold events.
Roads & public transport to help prevent Leyland becoming gridlocked
Health care: ensure there are enough GP surgeries to meet the increasing demand alongside easy access to urgent care. Continuing to support local leisure facilities and sports provision would also be fantastic to promote a healthy lifestyle.
Schools: consider investing more in current and new schools to meet the increasing population.
Just some ideas to get the conversation started
