A memorial to organ transplant consultant Dr Amgen El-Hawrani who worked at Queen’s Hospital Burton. He was a consultant and Ear, Nose & Throat trainer.
He died on Saturday 28/3/2020, aged just 55 years old, after testing positive for Coronavirus.
The NHS England’s first frontline worker to die in the fight against Covid 19.
Sacrificing his life, for the good of the good people of Burton.
A fitting memorial by the Hospital or town centre would be good idea in my opinion.
A place of peace and reflection, to remember all frontline emergency workers, who risk their lives for their communities. When this nightmare is over, we will probably all want to show our appreciation of their commitment, bravery, skill & dedication.
