  1. Parking for residents should be a priority. All residential streets should be parking permit for residents who live on those streets. Any empty shops requesting change of use to residential should not be given permission until parking areas have been created for future residents. This would alleviate the stress of trying to find a parking space especially at night when most people have returned home. Stapleford is in dire need of improvement in most areas and I sincerely hope the voices of the residents who live in the town and experience the above difficulties will be heard and taken seriously in any decisions made.

  2. Frederick Road is used as a car park by everyone except the residents. NHS workers, college people, church goers, shoppers, library users etc etc take up all the spaces so that when the residents return from work are unable to park.
Several times I ‘ve returned from the supermarket and have had to stop my car in the middle of the road to unload my shopping and then go off to park.
Our road is used by motorists as a short cut who can ‘t be bothered to use the main road, AND they don’ t even slow down.Traffic needs to be prevented for using our road and a one way system would be a good idea.

  3. This would really help.the local.area and alleviate issues on side roads for residents. Parking is normally full early on in the day and there is very little parking for more than 3hrs.
