Quality of roads through the town

Instead of the awful speed humps could an average speed camera be fitted to control the movement of the traffic on Derby rd. The roads are in desperate need of resurfacing aswell. This would reduce the damage caused to cars in and around the area.

  1. We are in full agreement with this. We live in Bramcote and try to shop locally if possible, but the spring damaging humps are a deterent. Their design only catches the smaller vehicles, whereas it is the bigger and wider vehicles that speed and yet they are unaffected and carry on in their own selfish way, at speed.
    Why not replace them with the rounded, full width ones, ( as at Wollaton) that still slow vehicles down but do not do as much damage to suspensions as the, so called, cushions (!) do
