Re-Zoning hybrid residential

Any new buildings, sale of existing property, or substantial renovation of existing property should require mixed use, where ground floor is retail/leisure and upper floors are residential.

With minimum standards there could be hundreds of good quality dwellings in the town centre which will encourage and sustain a ‘cafe culture’ and more varied eateries. Locals in the town centre will sustain such outlets not only at weekends but every day of the week.
