Reclaim farmland/land for community forestry and plantation

Not only for environmental benefit but our local communities are to in need of action led counter global crisis. Increasing a positive sense of well-being by bringing nature into our day to day. I am proposing an expansion to localised national trusts and employ local roles for wildlife management as well as community tree planting events, conservation education and other community investment in projects such as river clean ups. The money spent in our town needs to impact our relationship to nature, ultimately allowing our citizens to feel part of a Forrest regeneration that is urgently needed in the UK. Too much wildlife and land has been cleared for unproductive crops, a large percent of which goes to feed animals in the animal industry. Again, education and cause for community action is what we as a town are crying out for- in an upcoming town in need of more positive opportunity to impact our country and world.
