To further improve train links from Redditch to Birmingham as it is ideally positioned to take a prime spot as a commuter town into Birmingham and bring young professionals and much needed income into the town. Alongside this, regenerating and redeveloping the old factory’s and mills by the train line into flats and housing (warehouse loft style) to attract commuters – ideally located by the train station. The car park next to the station (not station car park) is unecessary we do not need more parking in Redditch but turning that brownfield site into housing is a good use of the land and will be useful to spearhead the town into a new phase. These brownfield sites are large and give a bad image for the town when arriving via train. They are ideal to be turned into housing. Once this is achieved the demographic will change and new shops bars and restaurants will follow organically much improving the town centre.
The Alex should also be invested in to support the Birmingham hospitals
