Regeneration of the historic Market Towns

The old Market Towns in the borough have been badly neglected by the Borough Council and they are urgently in need of major investment. My own town, Wellington has been decimated by out of town shopping outlets, the Telford project and a council not interested in the historic parts of the Wrekin area. This £25 million is welcome and should be spent on major projects to regenerate ‘the High Street’ in our town centres (not on more housing estates and roundabouts!).
