With housing development already planned and agreed, there is a need to ensure there is an appropriate level of sustained development of the road and facilities infrastructure.
Each new house will have at least 1 and normally 2 cars, the road structure whilst good, needs to ensure it meets this growth. There are already signs this is not the case in places (Bordesley) where a bypass and connection to the other main highways would seem a good spend.
Equally, the town needs to attract the new and existing people. Too many shops are closing and needs to be addressed through rates concessions for long term sustainable businesses.
