Very recently there has been a number of fatalities along main roads linking South Lynn to both the Hardwick and Hardwick Narrows industrial estates. How long or how many more serious injuries will it take to improve access and safety for the general public. Many people opt to travel to their places of work by a more Green mode of transport nowadays but are at risk to poor provision of safe access roads. As a suggestion, for those travelling to the Hardwick Narrows, a through road with proper bicycle and foot paths could be built from the Saddlebow area. This would improve congestion on Southgates roundabout and ensure easier access for workers and consumers too. With increasing housing development in the South Lynn area, surely this would be money well spent.
