Refocus our attention back to when Warrington had strong engineering and manufacturing trades and develop a research hub which links to north west universities, schools & colleges & concentrates some of their effort on the environment and transport. Warrington is a town for connection due to its central location in the NW, road & rail links & excellent broadband. So instead of having a little bit of this & that connect it and have everything. This would not only make the most of what we have, it would also provide an opportunity for economic growth in other areas and limit the retail park ethos (which is pointless without other business to provide jobs & infrastructure) we seem to currently be generating instead.
