The number of homless people in norwich has soared over the years. There have been numerous cuts to services available to these vulnerable people. A section of the funding should be used to create a shelter. Many other cities have created a space for those in need to use overnight with camp beds etc. During the day, this space could be used to aid those people in some way. Such as, providing skills with an aim of integrating into work, finding long term housing etc. There could be a ‘salon’ type set up also, whereby, donations could be given from the wider community to allow for hair cuts, beard cuts etc. Those who use the service could also be referred to services that can help them. This idea works in other cities and helps protect those who ade vulnerable. It also creates a city that is tourist friendly.
