Public housing is a form of housing tenure in which the property is usually owned by a government authority, which may be central or local. Social housing is any rental housing that may be owned and managed by the state, by non-profit organizations.
I would like to see the local council ( Warrington borough council ) use the policies in place and take action against the likes of its housing departments rather than helping them to cover up and avoid repercussions for building regulation breaches. ( we all know what happened in Grenfell !) False reports and test results regarding works carried out and condition of properties they rent out. The ignorance shown by WBC when evidence is presented to them should also be addressed as misconduct in a public office is allowed to continue as there is no deterrent.
