I understand the Pringles Leisure Centre will undertake a revamp. We are void of facilities in the local area for cricket clubs to practise indoors since the Bounce Cricket Centre closed. There are over 10 local cricket clubs, most with junior sections that will use the facilities for 4-5 months of the year. This is a sport that is struggling yet the country became world champions last year with millions of people able to watch on free to air TV. To be able to build on this momentum and create a community improvement, investment should be used for this national sport.
