St Georges Community Action

Funding for The Gower regeneration instead of the parish council taking out a loan that will cost 300k with residents footing the bill through council tax. The lack of integration for Priorslee residents & some St Georges residents into The Gower Project has led it to be exclusive. Press releases demonstrate the project is politically led with some members involved at the forefront of demolition plans in 2013. The lack of residents engagement has also led to barriers forming between each area. A fresh start with new members from all political & social backgrounds need to be involved.
Other things needed (Community Engagement 2015-20):-
Community Allotment space
Accessible access from St Georges to Priorslee Flash (ramp to A5 underpass )- Shropshire Disability Network have drawn up architect plans but TWC are not entertaining the need.
Youth Project support
Accessible inclusive pathways throughout St Georges & Priorslee
Transparency from council/cllrs
