Street food markets/craft fair space

Providing a space where street food markets can take place, and can be combined with farmers markets and crafts fairs. It would bring in a community feel to eating and socialing. The aim would be for it to be a place which supports local businesses and provides a great space for visitors to grab some tasty food and get some gifts.

  1. How I would love to see a clean, vibrant Boscombe instead of a dirty, dingy frankly
depressing area. This town has such beautiful architecture and could be such an
appealing town. There are so many properties and buildings that are way past restoring but also many that could be saved. It would also be fantastic to see a proper street market like Lymington, with lots of local produce. Please listen to the residents and get the investment that this town so dearly deserves

  2. Boscombe really does have so much potential., I’ve read and agree to the suggestions about creating jobs, community events, and some clean up. We are so fortunate to have Pokesdown Station ( when lift is ever fixed) and to be on a main bus route, it’s easy for people to get to. Love Boscombe and would love it to come back to life, keeping some of the most beautiful architecture.

  3. Love this idea. Boscombe is already lucky with so much space that could be used. For example, shops could be moved out of Sovereign Centre to the high street and an indoor market created. Or, the ugly modern shops like the old Store Twenty One could be demolished to create an outdoor space or maybe a semi-covered space. So many options, we are lucky, there is such potential for Boscombe!!
