Safe overnight stops for Motorhomes

We travel all over this country watching and writing about pantomimes usually over Christmas. It is a real challenge to park and find places to stay overnight, I contact councils in the towns or cities we are visiting and they have been most helpful. We have now joined CAMpRA (Campaign for Real Aires UK) Please […]

Spice epidemic

Money needs to b spent on removing and policing the number of drug addicts in Doncaster City Centre. The elderly are frightened, the generation with most money would rather avoid town and spend there money elsewhere because it’s not an enjoyable experience and children shouldn’t have to see addicts laying around in front of the […]

Give Vulnerable People Resources

I would suggest that a portion of the money being invested is spent on gathering essentials for those that are either financially deprived or are vulnerable to the coronavirus, this therefore meaning they have direct access to the essentials as do other families, it would also mean battling the panic buying as only the vulnerable […]

Skatepark

As skateboarding rapidly gains a more mainstream following, it has become a viable alternative to other sports as a way to keep fit. There are no skateparks in Doncaster Town Center, and people are badly in need of a place to skate.

Refurbishment of Leisure Centres

Access to Leisure Centres in deprived areas is essential to improve health. This is why all ex-council leisure centres given over to the DCLT should receive help to be refurbished and modernised to give individuals and clubs access to good facilities improving physical and mental health in particular for children and young people. Only decent […]

Town centre and cycling

Make town centre an attractive and pleasant place to be where people will be drawn to to spend time. It is really unpleasant at the moment so we avoid it. What a shame! Public realm and 21 century way of living and socialising please. Also make doncaster suitable for cycling. The town is so bad […]

Homes for the homeless.

More homeless shelters, offer the drug using homeless rehabilitation. 2020 and we have more homeless than ever! Get them into a home, help them rebuild their lives, encourage them to go to college and get a trade behind them. Make Doncaster great again.

Doncaster Royal Infirmary

Repair Doncasters Roads

I live in Warmsworth and the amount of potholes in the roads around the area is absolutely shocking. The council should invest in repairing roads and making them safe as so many of them are in an appalling state with multiple large / deep potholes. Use this investment or indeed the money paid in council […]

Public Transport

Something needs to be done about the buses around Doncaster. They are almost always off schedule, missing out buses and being really late. This affects me and my peers attendance at Doncaster college. Especially the bus from and to Hatfield which hardly arrives for my friend. The buses need to be better for everyone. Also […]

Stop Destroying Urban Trees

It was recently reported that a tiny forest of 600 trees is being planted in Oxfordshire to tackle urban wildlife loss; the benefits including storing carbon, soaking up water to reduce flooding, attracting wildlife, reducing dust, improving air quality and reducing noise pollution. A couple of weeks before this, Doncaster council cleared an area of […]

Install another bridge to enable more access from York Road side to Wheatley Hall Road. This will ease congestion massively.

Register it as a city

Doncasters population is far too large to be considered a town, with only town funding we lack what places like Sheffield have. Doncaster is a center point of travel across the UK, and currently it barely maintains its roads, rubbish and homeless.

That grants are made available to charities that are trying to support the youth in our most economically deprived areas of Doncaster. In particular the churches that are spearheading community projects and youth engagement.

Things to do

Skatepark skatepark skatepark

Build a decent skatepark already. Skateparks are proven to bring crime down (look it up). Give kids something to do. We’ve been asking for years. Build something good (decent size) and you’ll get people out, and it’ll last. Would be a worthwhile investment. Every town in UK has a decent park, apart from Doncaster. Sort […]

Dealing with crime

Doncaster needs more police. Town centre blighted with drug dealing and beggers. Burglary, violence, theft, anti social behaviour are all too high. 2) Doncaster is choked by a poor road network. Needs better road system. 3) All houses to receive free solar panels.

Sandals Park

Turn the fallen down building area into a car park as already got road access to help with safer parking on site and plant more trees on the grass areas in and around the ark to help with pollution from the main roads. This could poss happen around all parks and green spaces.

Improve cycling routes

Doncaster about 20 years ago set up cycling routes around Doncaster. But since they are been put in they haven’t been looked after not published left basically. Pavement Parking

Preserve our history

Free town centre parking

LGBTQ+ Area within Doncaster

As Waterdale is being improved upon at the moment it’d be advantageous to create an LGBTQ+ Area similar to Manchester’s canal Street, Sheffield Gay Quarter, Leeds Viaduct / Queen’s Court Area.
