I was hoping the planning committee would look more closely into the decision to allow a raw sewage plant to be located on Swinefleet common, this sewage will be transported through Goole, Old Goole and Swinefleet in thousands of trucks per year past schools, businesses and homes RAW SEWAGE

Corona Virus in Sewage

Goole needs to be aware that a company called 4R wants to transport 100,000 tonnes of sewage through the area for “processing” just south of Swinefleet. When the Corona Virus has been proven to exist in human sewage, surely this should not be allowed. One spillage, one accident, like the one that happened near the […]

Protect the countryside

With all the ongoing investment, it seems ludicrous that ERYC planning are trying to push through a sewage recycling facility on the site of the old peat works at Swinefleet, especially when the surrounding fields are either now designated as SSSI, or farmed producing crops that would be contaminated should spillage or leakage occur, rendering […]

Cheap Fuel

An outlet for cheap fuel (diesel/petrol). The supermarkets have money off offers on fuel to be used at their petrol stations but there is nowhere in or around Goole to use these. Our fuel is priced well above the supermarkets prices. Surely we should have access to cheap fuel without having to travel miles from […]

Keep Goole safe

We should not allow 4R to transport dangerous human waste products through our town 6 days a week. The routes are unsafe and not suitable for this amount of traffic and accidents are certain to happen as a result. Please act now and listen to the people who know.

Making Goole a safer place

The county council should not allow the transportation of 100000 thousand tonnes of untreated human waste,60000 thousand 44 ton articulated vehicles to travel along the roads of Goole to allow a company 4R to line their pockets and endanger the health and welfare of the many residents of the area. It is simply discussding.

Accessible leisure facilities

As a wheelchair user, I would like to see better access in general around town, particularly to shops and take aways on Pasture Road. However, the main thing I would love would be to make the track around the field at West Park a 2m wide asphalt path, so that wheelchair users can take part […]

Suggestion

Where to start? Goole lacks everything, from cleaning services, to urban planning, past the lack of attractions to simply urban works and art. The existing showroom does not have a visible program, nor is it broadcast in the enxesting media. In this city, there is no plan for the occupation of its residents, teenagers and […]

Town

Revamp the indoor market and rebuilt the arcade that’s been left for decades. For me companies who own places like this and leave it empty then once it gets to say 39 years then the council should be able to take it from them.

Football facilities

3g or any type of football facility, nothing to do for us so many get dragged into drugs etc, something for us to do on a night instead of people being scared of them hanging around shops etc

Football facilities

Goole is crying out for better football facilities. Rugby,Tennis and cricket already have good facilities whereas football which is easily the most popular sport in the town has nothing. Winter training is a nightmare and match’s are called off week after week. The recent charity football event at the VPG showed how big football is […]

Facilities in the town

We have a huge junior football club in Goole with very few playable pitches and even fewer places to train. Our club is called Goole Town Tigers JFC and have kids from 5-16 with 19 teams. During winter our only options are training in sports halls or paying ridiculous fees to play on The Victoria […]

Social Housing

I think it would be a great idea for a large scale build of social housing, be it council or housing association, the town is in desperate need of affordable rented accommodation.

Youth Clubs

Young people have no where to go. Town has issues with large amounts of teenagers roaming streets/town centre due to nothing to do.

Youth Facilities

Let’s get a youth club going in the town centre. Would be good to link it into the sports centre so the kids have relaxing options such a pool or bowling but can get involved in sport if they want. It needs facilitating so all can find it a safe space and the immediate area […]

Railway crossing

There needs to be a solution either a bridge for traffic or a tunnel. I’ve seen to many ambulances and police cars stuck at them, I’ve seen them stuck for more than 10min. It causes traffic right up boothferry rd and more money must be spent on flood defence.

Train crossing

Train crossing to be below or above the road. This would allow free movement between both parts of the town and would revamp the other side of the town, increasing house value and accessibility. Decrease CO2 emission due to cars stopped at crossing. At the moment the ‘second part of the town’ is a secondary […]

Town centre

It would be nice to see the town centre modernised with the pedestrianised part of Boothferry road redeveloped and changed to a series of shops, similar to the ones in Wesley Square. This could attract high street shops and independent businesses, in place of the larger shops that currently have no tenants. Also the road […]
