Bring a small tram service (similar to the tram service in Amsterdam) to run the full length of the new and old high street and London Road south, this could also be extended to the sea front. This would bring back some of Lowestoft heritage as there was a tram service originally in Lowestoft and there is also the transport museum. This would bring customers and tourists to the historic parts of the town and high street and enable customers to visit all the shops, cinema and seafront which would provide economic benefits. It doesn’t need to be a large scale service as the route isn’t long and would only need a small number of stops. The high streets in its current form is long and uninviting to walk the full length, in particular in summer, a tram service would be more appealing and offer something different.
