Unused hotels

Utilising the hotels that are boarded up and unused could be made into living spaces for over 55’s or 60’s who are perhaps living on their own and don’t want to be cut off from society. The hotels could serve as they would a hotel with morning/after noon activities, coffee mornings, bingo, sing along and dancing, family and friends visiting. Meals to be eaten with each other rather than sitting alone. Making it a community filled with friendship and belonging, something unique. Then at the end of the day spending time in the space of your own room. The homes that the older generation would normally live in could be starter homes for the younger generation.
