It is no secret that Boston has one of the highest percentages of Europeans outside London as it has been covered most weeks by the media. However rather than focused on the negative points of this influx why not turn it into a real unique selling point for the town.
West street has many international shops many of which are off licences. Why cant some of the.money go into making a continental street with polish delis and french bakerys Italian bistros German sweet shop etc. Each country could be represented in a shop and if done well would be a great visitor attraction and an asset for boston. Install outdoor seating and tables and give the whole street a positive continental feel. This would also discourage the amount of off licences opening as there would.be no need for them.
