I feel Middlesbrough ( whinney banks in particular) has been limited to local parks and play areas for children. There is plenty of areas where a park would be adequate and over the years there has been some attempts but the equipment is outdated – limited and was not properly maintained by the council. I think it’s imperative that children growing up in the area have access to a space to play. “The bricky” is a small field area located on Acklam road opposite The Acklam green estate, this particular area boarder 4 estates which makes it the perfect destination, although the “bricky” has some play areas – they are limited and run down, it includes a basket ball court that has remained un-touched. I myself grew up on the estate and face limitation for areas to play, I hope to see an area for the children to play some of my suggestion for this include – a swing for those with disabilities, a slide a swing set and a climbing frame
